This policy describes how Cardinal Contracting, Inc. ("Cardinal," "we," "us") handles information in connection with our SMS/text messaging program.

Information we collect

When you participate in our messaging program we collect your mobile phone number and the content of messages you exchange with our messaging system.

How we use it

We use your mobile number and messages to operate an internal team messaging service — for example, to send reminders to log work hours and to provide an assistant that responds to messages you send.

No sharing of mobile information

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number, SMS opt-in, or messaging consent with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is shared only with the service providers that make the messaging service work (for example, our messaging carrier, Twilio), solely so they can deliver messages on our behalf, and never for their own marketing.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies. You may receive approximately one reminder per workday, plus replies to any messages you send to us.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Opting out

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help. After you reply STOP, you will receive one confirmation message and then no further messages unless you opt back in.

Data retention and security

Messages and numbers are stored securely and used only for the purposes described above. We retain them only as long as needed to operate the program.
